Fortech continues to strengthen its international presence in the EV charging ecosystem with a new milestone in Hungary. In partnership with TEA Mobilitas, we have completed the first pilot installation of OPTcompact embedded in the country. The solution introduces a fully integrated payment terminal designed to simplify operations for charge point operators and deliver a smooth, intuitive experience for end users.

The installation represents the first step of a broader rollout strategy. Following the successful pilot, TEA Mobilitas is planning to retrofit around 130 EV charging points across Hungary during 2026, adopting Fortech’s embedded payment technology as a standard component of its infrastructure. At the same time, TEA Mobilitas is accelerating its expansion across Europe, with new projects already underway, including its upcoming entry into the Italian market.

The choice of OPTcompact embedded was driven by the need for a solution that combines reliability, ease of use and seamless integration within existing charging infrastructures.
“We are excited to have installed our first Fortech payment terminal in Hungary, providing an additional service that is greatly appreciated by our customers. We are planning to install more Fortech terminals in the near future: soon we will deploy our first charger in Italy, equipped with a Fortech terminal as well. From my point of view, the operating system of this terminal is the most customer-friendly so far, and your support is great as well.” said Martin Attila Oravecz, Customer Success Manager, TEA Mobilitas
For Fortech, this project confirms the value of an approach focused on end-to-end solutions, where payment technology becomes an enabler of operational efficiency and service quality, rather than a standalone component.
“We are proud to start this new partnership with Tea Mobilitas, marking an important step forward in expanding our presence and strengthening our technological ecosystem. Through the installation of our payment terminals, we aim to deliver seamless, secure, and efficient payment experiences while supporting innovation in mobility services. This collaboration represents the beginning of a broader strategic relationship, with a shared vision of future growth and expansion across Europe, driving new opportunities and enhancing value for customers and partners alike”, adds Federico Marzouk, International Sales Manager Fortech.
Starting from Hungary and moving towards a broader European footprint, the collaboration between Fortech and TEA Mobilitas demonstrates how embedded payment solutions can support the evolution of EV charging networks, combining technological robustness, customer-centric design and operational scalability.
