Fortech acquires ElectriEase and strengthens its technological ecosystem for EV Charging

Fortech announces the acquisition of ElectriEase, an innovative software platform dedicated to the management of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.

The transaction is part of Fortech’s expansion strategy and strengthens its technological ecosystem through the integration of a highly innovative company capable of bringing specialist expertise and design flexibility into the Group. This move further confirms Fortech’s commitment to technological excellence and to growth models based on the integration of complementary know-how.

“The entry of ElectriEase marks an important milestone for the company,” said Massimo Banci, Chief Business Officer of Fortech. “We share a vision of increasingly intelligent and integrated mobility and, by combining our capabilities, we will be able to offer the market even more comprehensive solutions, strengthening our role as a technology enabler for mobility through a strategy that goes beyond the logic of individual products and is based on the development of open, interoperable platforms oriented toward long-term value creation.”

“We are very pleased with the transaction with Fortech, which we believe will allow ElectriEase to fully realize its potential, with renewed energy as a nationally and internationally recognized brand in the electric mobility sector,” said Marta Lapiana, Chief Executive Officer of ElectriEase. “We will continue to play a significant role in the management of the business, confident in our ability to achieve the growth objectives shared with Fortech.”

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Rimini, Fortech connects and automates more than 14,000 fuel stations in Italy and manages over 4,000 POS terminals for electric charging in Italy and abroad, with several hundred new installations currently being activated. As a result, Fortech is recognized as one of Italy’s leading operators in services for traditional and electric mobility, with a strong leadership position in e-mobility thanks to the development of highly automated outdoor payment solutions. The company employs 195 highly specialized IT professionals and is also present in France, Spain, Portugal, and other European and non-European countries. Last June, Fortech welcomed into its share capital Perwyn, a European private equity investor specializing in the growth and transformation of mid-sized companies, and Scouting Investments, part of the Scouting Group, an international investment banking services platform active in Corporate Finance, Family Office, and Club Deals.

Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Rome, ElectriEase is a cutting-edge EV charging platform focused on unlocking the full potential of electric mobility by offering intelligent solutions for the management of charging infrastructure. Through the BeaglePlug app, it has approximately 20,000 users, collaborates with leading industry players, and provides access to more than 434,000 charging points, delivering over 6 million kWh through its network to make the transition to electric mobility seamless and accessible. Thanks to its all-in-one EV charging platform (ElectriEASE), the company enables CPOs and EMSPs to efficiently manage their electric vehicle charging infrastructure and/or user access from the outset.

ElectriEase brings into Fortech highly specialized know-how in the development of software platforms for the management of electric charging infrastructure, smart charging, and advanced data analytics. The integration of Fortech’s solutions with ElectriEase’s expertise allows for the consolidation of an end-to-end offering designed to more effectively meet the needs of CPOs (Charge Point Operators), eMSPs (e-Mobility Service Providers), operators, network managers, and mobility hubs.

The objective is to reduce technological complexity, increase operational efficiency, and offer the market integrated, scalable, and service-oriented solutions capable of supporting the evolution of electric mobility in a concrete and sustainable way over time.

Alongside technology and know-how, the ElectriEase team will represent a key asset in the development of Fortech’s e-mobility solutions, further strengthening the company’s ability to support customers and partners in the evolution of mobility and laying the groundwork for new growth and development opportunities at a European level.

At the same time, the integration into Fortech represents an important acceleration lever for ElectriEase, providing the platform with resources, industrial strength, and the ability to scale into new markets. The transaction thus opens a new phase of development for the company, enhancing its journey and reinforcing its role within the electric mobility ecosystem.
